Making is an intimate process. As a maker, the mental and physical intimacy I share with an object gives it life. As a wearer, that history is passed onto you. Upon interaction, it is surrounding your finger, suspended around your neck, and sitting upon your breast. While you develop its new life, that history is attached to you, creating a bond between us. By putting on my jewelry, we are building a relationship. My work is about two people and an object.
Growing up on both the east and west coast, I found myself in Providence, RI. There I quickly fell more and more in love with creating, and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Jewelry and Metalsmithing. Currently you can find me living and working in Brooklyn, NY.
